As the year 2026 began, local event organizer Cosplay.ph (CPH) has revealed key dates for its event series for next year, as well as the guests for its first-ever event, Cosplay Carnival.
During its presentation at Cosplay Matsuri last December 29, CPH revealed the key dates of its events for 2026, titled “Prisma Saga”, with Carnival kicking off the series on March 28-29, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Halls 1 and 2.
It will then be followed by Fanfes 2026 to be held at Space@OneAyala on May 16-17, then Anime and Cosplay Expo 2026 to be held on July 18-19 at the SMX Function Rooms 4-5.
CPH opted to stick with the first weekend on October for its marquee event, Cosplay Mania, scheduled for October 2-4 at the main halls of SMX Manila, then three weeks later, it goes 2.5 kilometers to Aseana City and Okada Manila’s Crystal Pavilion for CosMeet on October 25-26, which could also be a free event.
The organizer closes the event series again (and the year) on Cosplay Matsuri from December 28-30, now to be held on weekdays, at the SMX Convention Center Function Rooms 2-5.
Meanwhile, on December 30, CPH announced that Thai cosplayer Taotan will be the sole cosplayer guest for Carnival, while for its Summer JAM (Japanese Anime Music) Concert, artistes Halca and who-ya extended is slated to perform.
Halca, who is an artist under Sony Music’s Sacra Music label, sung the ending theme of Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku, and her music was also featured in anime shows such as Ace Attorney, Rent-A-Girlfriend, and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War,
Who-ya Extended is a Japanese music group also affiliated with Sacra Music and has contributed to anime such as PsychoPass and Jujutsu Kaisen.
